What we Make

Our jams and chutneys are hand-made in small batches to retain flavour and freshness.

Wherever possible we use produce grown in Hampshire to keep the number of food miles low and to support local farmers. We also hand-pick many of the seasonal varieties including heading out into the lanes to find elderflowers and elderberries, damsons and wild cherry plums

Jams

Blackberry and Apple Jam
Rich and dark with balanced flavours of both fruits

Damson Jam (Seasonal specialty)
A summer specialty that can’t be beaten

Greengage Jam (Seasonal specialty)
Sweet and scrumptious, this is the best green jam that we know

Marrow and Ginger Jam (Seasonal specialty)
A must-have for all ginger lovers, with a honey texture

Plum Jam with Walnuts
A hugely-popular, sticky afternoon tea jam

With two types of ginger, this really has a zing to it

Strawberry Jam (Seasonal specialty)
Only made from fresh Hampshire strawberries, it tastes as good as it looks

Strawberry Jam with Rose Petals (Seasonal specialty)
Made at the height of the season, we add rose petals to give an even more intense flavour

Wild Cherry Plum Jam  (Seasonal specialty)
Hand-picked wild cherry plums produce a beautiful pinky-yellow jam

Chutneys

Spiced Apple Chutney                                                                                                  A full-bodied fruity mouthful with satisfying levels of moisture and robust texture. The spiciness has an initial moderate intensity that is followed by a warming chilli finish. 

Cucumber Pickle
Crunchy, fresh and ideal with barbeques or cheese.

Mango Chutney
Fruity and well-rounded, this chutney goes with everything.

Onion Marmalade
The white wine and herbs give this a mellow flavour, ideal for use with cheese or game.

Pumpkin Chutney (Seasonal specialty)
Made from Bourne Valley pumpkins, this is a truly autumnal chutney.

Spiced Carrot Chutney
Filled with seven spices, this is our most popular chutney. It goes with everything from cheese to foie gras.

Lemon Marmalade with Ginger
A tangy varietal marmalade to make a change to your breakfast table

Seville Orange Marmalade (Seasonal specialty)
Using a centuries old recipe we’ve created a fresh, true breakfast marmalade

St. Clements Marmalade
Fruity, tangy and delicious: available during the summer and autumn

Elderflower Cordial
Freshly made from local flowers, this has the flavour of summer about it

Jellies

Crab Apple Jelly (Seasonal specialty)
Distinctive and clear, ideal with all meats

Elderberry Jelly (Seasonal specialty)
Recognised by The Daily Telegraph as one of the best seasonal products in the country, this dark, mysterious jelly is made from hand-picked berries. Ideal with game and dark meats

Lavender Jelly
Made with local apples and lavender this can be used with chicken or fish, or as a jam. Divine!

Quince Jelly                                                                                                          Made from fruit grown in Hampshire our Quince Jelly will enhance any Christmas meal.

Hot Quince Jelly                                                                                                  We've taken our popular Quince Jelly and given it some winter warmth. Wonderful with cheese as well as cold cuts.
